Youth Development Professional

*Youth Development Professional (YDP) *- Part time position(s) for our after school program.
Responsible for supervising 15 – 20 members, implementing curriculum, and leading group games.
Qualified applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check screening and have open availability Monday-Friday 2:45–6:00pm at our Thayer, MO location.
Starting pay will be $12.
30/hour and up.
*AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:* _Prepare Youth for Success _Facilitate lesson plans for the youth * Promote program participation * Provide guidance and role modeling to youth * Provide a safe environment through clear rules and expectations * Provide homework assistance and high yield fun learning activities during Power Hour.
* Help set up materials and redirect youth when appropriate _Supervision & Safety_ * Ensure a productive and collaborative work environment by participating in planned staff meetings and training.
* Inspect program areas daily or any safety precautions prior to youth entering area.
* Monitor youth while in program areas.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $12.
