Seeking qualified Infant Teachers to care for small children.

An infant teacher must have a great love and patience for _all_ children.
Qualifications needed to observe and teach them effectively include knowledge of child development and early learning standards as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention.
*Responsibilities*
* Observe and support the development learning goals for each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
* Organize nap and feeding times and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.
* Track children’s progress and report to parents any potential warning signs of physical developmental delays.
* Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and understand where they are developmentally.
* Collaborate with other educators
* Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
*Skills*
* Proven experience as an Infant Teacher in a childcare setting (Required)
* Access to or provide copies of certifications in Professional Development File
* Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and early learning standards
* Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
* Excellent communication and instructional skills
* Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
* Certification in child First Aid/CPR AED (Preferred)
* Cleared criminal and child maltreatment background checks (Required)
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $12.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
