Dietary Aide

Day Shift Available / May have to fill in other shifts on an as needed basis.
Morning Aide: 4:00am - 12:00pm Bar Person: 9:00am - 6:00pm Evening Aide: 11:00am - 6:00pm Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes - Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner - Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Assist with inventory control and stock rotation - Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests Qualifications: - Previous experience in the food industry or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills preferred - Strong time management skills to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule - Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to follow proper sanitation procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, guests, and staff members Responsible for making sure meals are properly prepared.
Assisting the cook with the preparation and serving of meals and ensuring a proper meal schedule is adhered to.
Assist with arranging tray cards, loading food carts, and making sure that proper portions control protocols are met.
The dietary aide is also responsible for helping with cleaning up after all meals are served.
This involves clearing tables and trays, washing dishes, pots, and pans, placing items in storage until they are needed again and removal of all waists.
All sanitation and safety concerns should be immediately reported to the supervisor.
The dietary aide role may also extend to assisting with inventory counts and ensuring necessary supplies are always on hand.
